📢 [Resolved] Urgent Twitter Update

All users will need to reconnect their Twitter accounts in SocialOmm. Account verification is required because there has been a large update from Twitter. Follow these steps to connect your Twitter account. The process will be the same as when you first added your account.

Twitter has also required that scheduling platforms switch to their new V2 API. Unfortunately, they have not yet provided the portion of the API that can upload images in this new version. As a result, SocialOmm will be unable to post uploaded images to Twitter until Twitter can provide us with the new API that allows this. Posts will just display with the text. As soon as they provide, posts will be able to display the uploaded image again.

In the meantime, we recommend that you add a URL link with all posts. Twitter will automatically grab a preview image from the web page. This will mean that there will be a visual with the text.

We do not know how long this feature will be unable. We have to wait until Twitter makes the update.

It is a difficult situation but we will make sure to keep you updated as soon as this is resolved.
