Google+ Will Be Removed January 23, 2019
From January 23, 2019 onwards, SocialOmm will no longer be able to support Google+ profiles or pages.
Why?
In October 2018, Google announced that they would be shutting down Google+ as part of a larger review of their products and security. Since then, they’ve shared that the shut down will happen earlier than initially planned.
We’ve learned that they will no longer support third-party apps such as SocialOmm by March 7, 2019 and that any posts that are scheduled for after January 25, 2019 might not be published.
We understand that it won't be a great experience for you if your scheduled Google+ posts aren’t published so, after careful consideration, we decided to cease support for Google+ by January 23, 2019.
How will this affect you?
From January 23 onwards, any Google+ profiles or pages that you have connected to SocialOmm will no longer appear in your SocialOmm dashboard, and you will no longer be able to schedule new Google+ posts, or analyze previous Google+ posts. Any posts that you have scheduled beyond January 23 will not be published to Google+.
We understand that changes like this can feel very disruptive, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
If you have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Please note: This does NOT effect the Google My Business integration, which will continue to work as expected.
